Medicine healer, Lauren Monroe and her husband, legendary Def Leppard drummer
and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Rick Allen, have a beautiful love story to
tell. It was years after Rick’s tragic
accident when he lost his left arm that he met Lauren while seeking out
alternative techniques in therapeutic healing. It was her work as a massage
therapist and energy healer that not only gave Rick a new sense of self, but
launched their collaborative efforts playing and performing music. From there, Lauren and her band, including
Rick on drums, have recorded some of the most compelling and thought-provoking music
heard today. As a caring and
compassionate couple, their mutual love of helping other people also led them
to create Raven Drum Foundation, a non-profit organization that serves,
educates, and empowers Veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors through
innovative wellness-support programs. Both Lauren and Rick’s artistic efforts
extend out to their love of creating mixed media art which is auctioned online
to benefit their foundation and other healing programs. Join Dr. Jen Palladino in her conversation
